I found these on my computer recently. I made them some time ago in a 3D program called Solid Edge and in Photoshop. I had the intention of doing a whole Ephesians 6 "Spiritual Armour" series, then post them as downloadable wallpapers on the website I maintain for my youthgroup. However, my computer crashed, and while I got some things off the hard drive before formating and reinstalling, there were some things I missed, for instance, the original source file i used in making the 3D objects. I also made a "Sword of the Spirit" pic, but i failed to save both the 3D model and the picture, as far as I know. I never ended up posting them on the site, because I didn't have the complete collection. I hope to finish it some day, which unfortunately requires me to restart it.
I wanted to give it a cool, archaic feel, so I did wrote "Fides" on the shield, which I understand is Latin for "Faith". With Latin being the root word for much english, you have to be wary translating stuff... for instance, while I engraved my sword with "Gladius Spiritus" ("Sword of the Spirit"), those of you who know some Latin would understand that I made sure the scabbard was not similarly engraved with its respective latin translation.

I happen to have around my mind a psychic wall - I refer to this sometimes as my shield of faith. It is meant primarily as a ward against negative emotions and energy - although, I personally think it could act as a defense against possession if such a thing is truly real.
